School Day (Reception - Year 6)
Our school day is designed to create a welcoming, safe, and orderly start for all pupils. Here's how the day is structured:
Morning Arrival
At 8:50am, school gates open, and each morning, children are greeted by a member of staff on duty. Class teachers warmly welcome children at the entrance designated for their year group:
- Year 1/2 and Year 5/6 enter through the side door.
- Year 3/4 enter through their external classroom door.
- Nursery/Reception children enter via their decked area.
Parents are welcome to accompany their children onto the playground each morning, though we encourage older pupils to build independence by entering on their own. Please remember that children remain the responsibility of their parents until the gates open at 8:50am. Gates close promptly at 8:55am for lessons to begin.
